Use

Let's start this out on the right foot; THE CLONING TOOL IS DANGEROUS, use it carefully and thoughtfully. The use of the cloning tool is restricted to making a copy of something that will be changed. When using the tool you must be absolutely sure that at least one of the defining attributes of that entity are different from the original.

    Select Match instance in DB to make sure that you have made a meaningful change.
    "Match instance in DB" feature to insure that the instance is really different from the entity in gk_central. Do this by right clicking on the newly created instance.
• What followed was a very lively and good discussion about defining attributes. This is a very good topic and I am miffed that I missed it. It should be part of the introduction and we need a few slides of this that relate the Reactome Data Model to the biology and then allow the curator to make logical jump to how EWAS must be different from one another in order to be "different" within Reactome. We should address this in our training material
