Deep extracting a local project for QA

In the Event Browser view, select the pathway that contains all of the events that you want to include. It is best to select the smallest pathway that still contains all the events that you'd like to review.

Check this out into a local project.
To extract “top down”:

1. Select all ReactionLikeEvents (RLE) right click and select “update from database”(make a note of # of RLE instances)
2. If number of RLEs increases in the “update” you'll need to select all and update again.
3. Repeat this process until the number of RLEs stabilizes *A total of 2 rounds of updates should extract all component reactions as well as their immediate referrers ...e.g reactions in the “inferrredFrom” slots.*
4. Select all CatalystActivities, right click and select “update from database”
5. Select all EntitySets (note starting #) right click and select “update from database”. Repeat until the number of sets stabilizes ( note the final # of sets ).
6. Select all Complexes and update as described above. After you've updated complexes, recheck # of set. If sets have increased, repeat step 5 on sets. Then recheck complexes. Repeat this loop until neither number increases (note the final # of sets).
7. Select all GenomeEncodedEntity update from DB.
8. Select all Polymer and update (check number of EntitySets and Complexes to see if they'e increased. If so, repeat step 5or 6 as necessary).
9. Select “OtherEntity” and update from DB.
10. Select SimpleEntity and update from DB.

Project extraction should now be complete. Don't forget to save!
